Daniel Mendes

Daniel Mendes is a seasoned procurement professional currently serving as a Procurement Strategy Manager at Lion since December 2023. Previously, Daniel held various positions at Vicinity Centres from January 2015 to December 2023, culminating in the role of National Procurement Manager, where leadership of a high-performing team and optimization of supplier relationships were key responsibilities. Prior roles included Procurement Manager, focusing on national waste and service categories, and Vendor Management Office Procurement Lead, where Daniel established a vendor management framework to support continuous improvement initiatives. Daniel began a professional career with a Tax and Treasury Internship at Nissan Motor Corporation from January 2013 to January 2014. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Commercial Law from Swinburne University of Technology and a Diploma of Finance from Integrity Education Group.
