Mel Jackson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality assurance, compliance, and technical leadership within the food and aquaculture industries. Currently serving as a Technical Leader at Lion since May 2019, Mel previously held the position of Quality and Compliance Manager at Cleanseas Seafood from October 2017 to May 2019, and served as QA and Compliance Manager at San Remo from August 2014 to May 2018. Prior to these roles, Mel was the Quality Assurance Manager at Maggie Beer Products and worked as a Microbiologist at the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment from 2003 to 2011. Mel holds a Bachelor of Aquaculture (Hons) and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from the University of Tasmania.
