Chaim Friedman

Chaim Friedman is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sectors. As a Founding Partner at LionBird since August 2012, Chaim provides pre-scale capital and support to innovative healthcare founders. Previously, Chaim served as a Mentor at Microsoft Azure Accelerator from January 2013 to December 2018. At Abbott Laboratories, from May 2010 to August 2012, Chaim held the position of Senior Director, Business Development, focusing on the integration of STARLIMS into Abbott's Diagnostic business. Prior to that, Chaim co-founded STARLIMS in 1990, serving as Chief Financial Officer and Board Member, where expertise was applied in developing laboratory informatics solutions. Chaim holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Economics from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, earned between 1981 and 1985.
