Rosemond Sarpong-Owens is the Lion's Historian.

Hello there, this is the Lion’s Historian, who is

passionate about children's literature! I love children to

see themselves represented in books. I enjoy making

stories of great leaders come alive for young readers!

The Heritage Collection are for young readers to enjoy.

Parents and teachers, you may use these books for your

family or school reading time. Together we can instill a

love for history and appreciation of multicultural leaders

who have changed the world.

My hope is that as young readers see themselves

represented in books, it will unleash their unlimited

potential for them to dream boldly.
