Joel Meyer

Joel Meyer has extensive experience in television production, currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Head of TV Production at Lionsgate since April 2017. Prior roles at Lionsgate include Senior Vice President, Vice President of Production, and Executive Director. Joel transitioned from Lionsgate Entertainment where the role of Director of Television Production was held between June 2015 and April 2017. Earlier experience includes positions such as Production Supervisor/Associate Producer for VH1's Hit The Floor and various roles at ProdCo, Inc., culminating as Associate Producer. The career began at 20th Century Fox Television as an Assistant to the Executive Producer for The Unit following a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
