Jonathan Cui

Jonathan Cui is an incoming Investment Banking Analyst at LionTree, with prior experience as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst and an Incoming Investment Banking Summer Analyst. As a Securities Analyst for the Marshal L. Salant Investment Team, Jonathan pitched equities for a long-only student-run investment team that managed over $400K of Johns Hopkins' endowment fund, outperforming the S&P 500 by 5.5%. Jonathan also served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Economic Intelligence Group Chief at the Institute for Applied Economics, where a working paper on the Emergency Economic Powers of the United States' President was published. Additional experience includes a Growth Equity internship at Resolve Growth Partners and a Private Equity Summer Analyst role at GREAT PLAINS CAPITAL, alongside a Finance and Strategy Internship at FINTAINIUM™, collaborating directly with the Chief Strategy Officer. Jonathan is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at The Johns Hopkins University, where a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics has already been completed.
