James O'Connor

James O'Connor, CFA, is an experienced fund manager currently leading the Global Innovation Investment Team at Liontrust Asset Management PLC since October 2019. Previously, James held multiple roles at Neptune Investment Management from November 2015 to September 2019, including Fund Manager, Assistant Fund Manager, Senior Analyst, Analyst, and Intern. Additionally, James served as the Head Coach for Rowing at Avonside Girls High School from August 2013 to October 2014 and completed an internship as an analyst at Castalia in June 2011. Academically, James holds an MSc in Education from the University of Oxford (2014-2015) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Economics from Harvard University (2009-2013), following a high school education at Christ's College, Canterbury (2003-2007).
