Robert Smith

Robert Smith has held several finance and risk management roles throughout their career. Robert started working at FIL Investments International in 2005 as a Risk Director and stayed there until 2013. Robert then moved to Neptune Investment Management where they served as Deputy Finance Director and Head of Operational Risk from October 2013 to April 2016, and then as Chief Financial Officer from May 2016 to January 2020. Most recently, they joined Liontrust Asset Management PLC in September 2020 as Deputy Head of Finance.

Robert Smith attended Shrewsbury School from 1984 to 1989, the details of their degree and field of study during this time are unknown. Following their time at Shresbury School, Smith enrolled at the University of Cambridge, where they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Natural Sciences from 1990 to 1993.
