Derick Ditzler has a long history of work experience in the engineering and manufacturing fields. Derick began their career in 2000 as a Production Engineer at Northrop Grumman. In 2005, they took on the role of Configuration Analyst at Dako Colorado, Inc. and Technical Operations Engineer at Beckman Coulter. From 2009 to 2016, they worked as Manufacturing Test Engineering Manager, Team Lead Manufacturing Systems Test Engineering, and Manufacturing Systems Test Engineer at Dot Hill Systems. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Sr. Engineering Manager at Seagate Technology, where they managed a worldwide team of engineers and led a team of engineers developing a common test platform. Most recently, they have been a Principal Engineer at Liqid, where they designed, developed, and deployed a manufacturing test program. This program resulted in a 4x improvement in production test through-put and 77% improvement in test coverage.
Derick Ditzler attended Penn State University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned both a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a BS in Electrical Engineering.
