Bede Denham

Bede Denham has a diverse work experience spanning from 2016 to the present. Bede started as the Manager of Cold-Pressed Coffee at Blackstar Coffee Inc., where they led a team and managed manufacturing and distribution processes. They also worked as an Analyst and Accounting Assistant at Blackstar Coffee, handling company finances and creating excel models for business decisions.

In 2019, Bede worked as a Financial Advisor Assistant at Valley Mayfair Wealth Management, where they assisted with client communication, drafted documents, and optimized document preparation using spreadsheets.

Bede also worked as a Junior Data Analyst at CUA - Credit Union Australia Limited, where they extracted and analyzed data for reporting purposes, created profitability and forecasting models, and provided insights to improve business outcomes.

In 2021, Bede joined ANU Solar Racing as an Electrical Engineer, contributing to the design and manufacturing of a solar-powered racing car. They primarily worked on the solar array, conducting research, testing insulation methods, designing and 3D printing housings, and wiring the array.

Bede also worked as a Groundskeeper at Royal Canberra Golf Club in 2021, maintaining landscaping and grounds.

In 2022, Bede became a Short Term Consultant at The World Bank, writing a paper on embedded emissions accounting and supporting trade-related climate policy analysis using input-output tables.

Currently, in 2023, Bede is working as a Research Officer at The Australian National University, conducting interviews with global hydrogen experts for a project on renewable hydrogen and its role in the future. The goal is to guide future policy and understand the potential of hydrogen.

Currently, Bede is attending The Australian National University, where they are working towards earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
