Benjamin Herazo

Benjamin Herazo, PhD, is a Research Associate at Université de Montréal with a diverse background in Architecture, Economics, and Environmental Design. They focus on urban vulnerabilities such as food insecurity, informal settlements, and climate change while promoting low-carbon and wood-based construction solutions. Benjamin has led international projects including SUSTENTO, ADAPTO, and Liquid Space Lab, collaborating with universities, governments, NGOs, and industry partners. Additionally, they are the Vice President and Treasurer of Liquid Space Lab and manage activities at the Chaire Fayolle Magil Construction. Benjamin's commitment to bridging research and practice aims to enhance the capacity of organizations and communities to tackle contemporary urban and environmental challenges.
