Chris Orlando is a seasoned Cloud Architect at Liquid Web, having transitioned from Nexcess following its acquisition in July 2019. Chris has extensive experience in cloud product development, working closely with engineering teams and utilizing programming skills in PHP, Bash, and Ruby, along with configuration management for numerous servers using Puppet and Ansible. Prior to the current role, Chris served as a Systems Engineer at Nexcess, contributing to many software and infrastructure projects, including the launch of the Nexcess managed cloud hosting product. Earlier roles at Nexcess included Enterprise Support Analyst and Tier One Support Analyst, where Chris provided advanced client support and gained a strong understanding of hosting infrastructure. Chris began a career in technology as a Sales Associate at Micro Center, offering technology solutions to customers. Chris pursued education at Oakland University from 2011 to 2012.
