Ian King

Ian King has extensive experience in information security and computing, currently serving in HPC Operations at Ford Motor Company since August 2018, focusing on Distributed and High-Performance Computing. In addition, Ian has been part of the Information Security Operations team at Liquid Web since October 2011, where responsibilities include maintaining the information security of data centers. Ian began as an entry-level Linux administrator at Liquid Web, providing support and troubleshooting. Prior roles include co-owner and technician at Dr. J Computer Repair from July 2009 to October 2011, and computer technician at HPS from October 2007 to August 2008, where Ian demonstrated skills in networking and hardware repair. Ian's educational background includes studies in Computer Science at Washtenaw Community College, Central Michigan University, and Cleary University.
