Michael Wallans

Michael Wallans is an expert innovation professional with over 20 years of experience in product innovation, mechanical design and engineering, and strategic development of patent and innovation portfolios. They held positions as a Mechanical Designer for Ian Martin Limited under contract to Nortel Networks, and served as a Mechanical Patent Examiner for the Government of Canada. Michael excelled as a Senior Patent Engineer at Cleveland Golf/Srixon USA and later advanced to multiple roles at Nike, including directing patent portfolios for various global categories. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at Carleton University while working as the Vice President of Intellectual Property at Liquid Wire Inc.
