Luke Stover

Luke Stover is a seasoned test engineer with a strong background in combustion research and development, particularly focused on biomass powder in internal combustion engines. Currently at LiquidPiston since August 2021, Luke previously served as a postdoctoral researcher at Université d'Orléans, where combustion of ultrafine biomass powder was studied. Luke's early career included a PhD at ADEME, where combustion studies were conducted, and a role as a research and development engineer at Powderis, managing biomass fuel projects. An educational journey that includes a Doctorate in Energy from Université d'Orléans and multiple degrees in automotive engineering and physics underpins a deep technical expertise and commitment to sustainable mobility.
