Peter Del Rey

Peter Del Rey has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and companies. Peter began their career at Continental Insurance Company in 1988 as a Senior Programmer Analyst. In 1994, they joined Cerberus Pyrotronics as a Project Leader. In 1998, they moved to Siemens Fire Safety Division as an IT Technical Manager.

In 2007, Peter became a founding employee of PHD Virtual Technologies, where they served in multiple roles, including Senior Software Engineer and Director of Operations. Peter later became the Chief Product Expert, responsible for Product Management, Support Liaison, and blogging for the PHD Virtual Backup solutions. Peter also managed the PHD Virtual User Group and Alpha/Beta programs.

In 2011, Peter joined Liquidware Labs as a Technology Evangelist. Simultaneously, they also worked as the Primary Blogger for "The Virtual Headline" until 2014, where they provided expertise in virtualization.

Through their various roles, Peter has developed a strong expertise in backup and recovery solutions, virtualization, and software development.

Peter Del Rey attended Stevens Institute of Technology from 1985 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering.
