George Fields has been working in the technology field since 2003. George began their career as a Student Assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they provided program assistance and support. George then moved up to become a Mathematics Tutor, providing advanced math tutoring for undergraduate students. After that, they became a Graduate Assistant, where they implemented and managed the courseware management system for Graduate & Executive Education, provided training and support for its 500+ users, and created and expanded the Physician Executive MBA alumni database and website. George then became an IT Technologist II, where they were responsible for the overall delivery of technology to students, staff, and faculty, as well as working on different software and hardware projects. Most recently, they have been working as a Data Engineer at Lirio, where they are responsible for designing, maintaining, and expanding the data platform, implementing custom and third-party products, and automated testing and deployment on AWS and Azure.

George Fields earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2006. George then returned to the same university and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master's degree in Business Analytics, both in 2015.
