Pascal Poncelet

Pascal Poncelet is a Full Professor at the University Montpellier - LIRMM since October 2008 and leads the Advanse Team focused on advanced analytics for data science. Previously, Pascal served as a Full Professor and Co-Director of the Research Center Department at LGI2P - Ecole des Mines d'Alès from May 2001 to October 2008. Earlier academic roles include Associate Professor positions at Université Paul Valéry (September 1999 - May 2001) and IUT Aix en Provence (September 1994 - September 1999), as well as an Assistant Professor at IUT d’Aix en Provence (September 1993 - August 1994). Pascal completed a PhD in Computer Science at University Nice Sophia Antipolis in 1993 and obtained the Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches in Computer Science from University Montpellier 2 in 2001.
