Michael Krohmann has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael began their career in 2000 with an internship at Cisco Systems. Following this, they worked as a freelance at Steinmetz Trickfilm for a brief period. In 2004, they joined kernpunkt, where they held various roles including Head of Product Development, Project Manager, Software Architect, and Web Developer. Krohmann then worked at Lekkerland as a Demand Manager WCMS from 2010 to 2011. Michael joined Fashion ID GmbH & Co. KG in 2014 as a Developer/Manager and continued until 2017. Krohmann also worked at Sitecore as a Senior Commerce Architect in 2018. Later that year, they joined Fashion ID GmbH & Co. KG again as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2019, Krohmann switched to Fashion Digital GmbH & Co. KG (Unternehmensgruppe Peek & Cloppenburg) as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2020, they became the CTO at Kauz GmbH and held the position until 2021. Currently, Krohmann is working as the Chief Technology Officer at LiSA.

Michael Krohmann has a strong education history in the field of technology and business. Michael obtained their Abitur, which is the German equivalent of a high school diploma, from Freiherr-vom-Stein Gymnasium Rösrath between 1994 and 2001. Later, from 2002 to 2004, Michael attended b.i.b. International College in Bergisch Gladbach, where they earned a Certified Computer Scientist degree with a focus on Multimedia. In 2007, they enrolled at Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln and graduated in 2010 with a Diploma in Business Informatics.

In addition to their formal education, Michael Krohmann has also pursued various certifications to further enhance their professional skills. In 2014, they obtained the certifications of "M101J: MongoDB for Java Developers" from MongoDB and "Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM)" from Scrum Alliance. More recently, in 2018, they became a "Sitecore® Certified Platform Associate Developer" through the Sitecore institution. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to staying current and proficient in the ever-evolving field of technology.
