Derek Schmidt

Derek Schmidt, PMP, is currently the Vice President of Commercial Services at LISCR, where they leverage extensive maritime expertise and commercial operations leadership. Previously, they served as a Marine Inspector for the U.S. Coast Guard and held various roles in the US Navy, including Lieutenant, with responsibilities in the Merchant Mariner component. With experience as a Senior Surveyor at both DNV GL and the American Bureau of Shipping, Derek has significant knowledge in vessel operations and offshore units. Derek earned a Master of Business Administration from American Military University and a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
