And served by musicians moonlighting as bartenders, who curate the bar's indie-leaning playlists.

"It's like a mixtape you can walk into," says founder Lorelei Bandrovschi. "Have a drink with the people behind the music, bond over shared influences and walk out with a new favorite song." 

Finally, the question "where do you go when you're not drinking" has an easy answer.

After the success of its initial pop-up, #ListenBarVol1, Listen Bar is hosting additional pop-up bars and gearing up to crowdfund a permanent location.
