Derek O.

Derek O. has over 15 years of experience in the engineering and technology field, starting with Globecomm Systems Inc. in 2006 as an engineer. Derek then worked as a project engineer at L3 GCS from 2010 to 2017. In 2017, they became a project manager at Yahsat until 2018. In 2012, they became an entrepreneur and owner of Advanced Communications and Engineering Solutions (ACES). Recently, they worked at Lite Coms LLC, starting as Sr. Director of Engineering, SATCOM in 2019, and later became VP of Technology in July 2021.

Derek O. attended the University at Buffalo from 2000 to 2005 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, they received an Associate of Science degree from Nassau Community College, although the dates and field of study for this degree are unknown.
