Steven Goerlich has over 20 years of experience in the field of hardware engineering, starting their career as an Engineering Co-Op at ABB in 1998. Steven then worked as a Hardware Engineer at Improv Systems Inc. from 2000 to 2002, primarily designing demonstration platforms for ASIC and FPGA based VLIW architecture CPU designs. From 2003 to 2004, they worked at Dimension Technologies Inc. as a Senior Electronics Engineer, designing embedded hardware for glasses-free 2D/3D flat panel displays for PC and video support. At Sonus, they worked as a Senior Hardware Engineer from 2004 to 2014, where they led multiple projects, including Project Lead for embedded 32-bit Freescale CPU-based 10Gb/1Gb layer 3 managed Ethernet switches and a twelve-port embedded Gen 3 PCIe switch. Steven then worked at Mastodon Design LLC from 2014 to 2021 as a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer, where they designed electrical systems for various clients. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Product Engineering at Lite Coms LLC since July 2021.
Steven Goerlich attended Lehigh University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
