Kevin Tholen

Kevin Tholen's work experience begins in 2009 when they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Coe College Physics Research. In 2011, they became a Programmer at enlighten technologies inc. Kevin then moved on to Innovative Software Engineering where they worked as a Software Engineer from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, they also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Kirkwood Community College. Kevin then joined Target as a Lead Software Engineer from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at HomeAway before transitioning to The Home Depot as a Staff Software Engineer from 2018 to 2020. Kevin then worked at Favor Delivery as a Staff Software Engineer from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Staff Software Engineer at Lithic since 2021.

Kevin Tholen completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physics and Mathematics at Coe College from 2007 to 2011. Kevin then pursued a Master of Computer Science degree at the University of Iowa from 2012 to 2014, majoring in Computer Science. Additionally, they obtained several certifications such as "Text Retrieval and Search Engines," "Pattern Discovery in Data Mining," and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera Verified Certificates in 2015. In 2014, they also earned the "Cloudera Certified Developer for Apache Hadoop (CCDH)" certification from Cloudera.
