Omar Shkeir

Omar Shkeir serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Lithios, an advanced lithium extraction company, since October 2024. Previously, Shkeir held multiple roles at Electric Hydrogen from June 2021 to October 2024, including Director of Business Development for EMEA, Director of Sales, and Senior Product Manager, focusing on defining electrolyzer plant specifications in collaboration with various industry stakeholders. Shkeir's earlier experience at Shell (August 2013 - March 2021) involved leading hydrogen project management teams, overseeing the construction of hydrogen retail stations in Northern California, managing the LNG retail network in North America, and participating as an Operations Engineer during the first major turnaround of Shell's GTL facility in Qatar. Shkeir holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
