Simon Young

Simon Young has held various roles in the field of archaeology since 2012. Simon began their career as a PhD student at The University of Melbourne. In 2015, they founded Lithodomos VR PTY LTD, where they served as the Founder - Executive Archaeologist & Business Development Europe and Founder - CEO. In this role, they created immersive Virtual Reality experiences of the ancient world for the Oculus Rift, HTC, Samsung Gear VR, and Google Cardboard. In 2019, they joined Lithodomos as Chief Content Officer and CEO, Founder.

Simon Young obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology from the University of Adelaide. Simon then furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in the same field from the University of Melbourne between 2013 and 2015.
