Ralph Highnam

Ralph Highnam is the founder, Chief Scientist, and CEO of two successful medical device software companies, one of which went public. They completed a PhD at Oxford, authored a book on mammographic image analysis, and demonstrated that breast tissue could be quantified from x-ray images to assist women with breast cancer. Highnam founded a medical imaging AI company in both Oxford and Wellington, leading to significant advancements in breast cancer screening. They are currently an adjunct professor at Victoria University of Wellington and hold several director and organizer roles while continuing to advocate for community well-being through their various initiatives.
