Little Birds is an independent literary publicity and consulting agency. With nearly fifty years of experience in the book world among our founding partners, we support writers, publishers, literary organizations, and booksellers by curating robust publicity campaigns, collaborations, training, and nest-building for our clients.

Little Birds is a one-stop shop that elevates and engages the capacity of all literary creatives, helping achieve exposure on a local and global scale. We care deeply about our home region of Appalachia, bringing a sophisticated sensibility rooted in a strong sense of place to our work of platforming diverse voices across our home and the world.

Our bespoke public relations work spans a wide range of services for publishers, individuals, and communities of writers seeking extra publishing know-how to launch a book or career into soaring flight.

Little Birds’ wings flex along with personal, professional, and community needs, offering topical workshops and personalized consultations, seasonal and title-specific publicity support for publishers, and tailored plans and media training for aspiring and established authors and organizations. We build nests of opportunities along the literary flight path.
