John Dawes has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. John started their career as a Temporary Processing Administrator at Towry in 2002. John then worked as a European Marketing Communications Specialist at Microchip Technology from 2003 to 2007. After that, they joined Snap-On Equipment as a Europent Marketing Co-ordinator in 2007.
In 2008, Dawes joined Moneycorp as a Marketing Executive and later became the Corporate Marketing Manager. As the Head of Marketing at Moneycorp from 2012 to 2015, they were responsible for international market coverage and transforming websites. During this time, they achieved the reengineering of internal sales processes and sales funnel strategy.
Following their role at Moneycorp, Dawes worked at Skrill as the Head of B2B Marketing in 2015, managing a budget and a team of 6. Then, they served as a Marketing Consultant at Doddle Parcels from 2015 to 2016, where they developed B2B acquisition and retention plans.
In 2016, Dawes worked at Wise as a Product Marketing Consultant, where they developed a new B2B product GTM strategy. John then joined Goodlord in 2017 as the Head of Marketing, where they led marketing strategy, brand positioning, and the relaunch of the website.
From 2018 to 2022, Dawes worked at Lumon as the Marketing Director, where they were responsible for B2B, B2C, and brand activities. There, they created and launched a new brand and aligned existing brands. John also focused on increasing customer acquisition rates, implementing new B2B strategies, and defining B2C strategies.
Most recently, Dawes joined Littlepay in 2023 as the Head of Marketing.
John Dawes completed their education with a Certificate in Marketing from the University of West London in 2007. Prior to that, they pursued a GNVQ in Business Advanced from Easthampstead Park during 1998-2000 and another GNVQ in Business from the same institution during 1997-1998.
