LIV was acquired by US-based Cortland in August 2019. Cortland is a multifamily real estate investment firm headquartered in Atlanta. Cortland owns and manages more than 60,000 apartment homes across the US. Both LIV and Cortland share a common passion for putting the resident first.

Our team is currently working across 14 separate BTR sites and advising on projects with a 10,000+ pipeline of BTR units nationwide with depth of understanding that sets us aside from our competitors. Our clients include major funds and developers.

In addition to this, LIV provides residential block management services for over 8,000 leasehold units nationwide. We operate a direct approach to property management; and our team support 1000s+ of leaseholders in a range of properties, from small blocks to flagship city centre developments. Our Property Managers work tirelessly to ensure that their developments are running smoothly, always.

LIV Consult is the BTR sector’s first specialist advisory service for developers and investors, with a proven record of working on some of the UK and Ireland’s most prominent developments. Often engaged at an early stage, our team undertakes demographic and viability analysis as well as financial modelling with a focus on net operating income. We are working as part of the project design team on some of the UK's leading BTR projects where our role is to help shape buildings to deliver superb homes and to create efficient management operating models.
