David Thompson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the medical technology field, currently serving as the Director of Emerging Technology at LivaNova since October 2003. Thompson has successfully led the development of a novel rechargeable neurostimulation system, overseeing all aspects of the project, including firmware, software, systems, electrical, RF, and mechanical designs, ultimately achieving FDA approval alongside a positive clinical trial outcome.
