Dawn Smith

Dawn Smith is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in cardiothoracic practices. Currently serving as a Territory Manager for Cardiopulmonary at LivaNova since January 2018, Dawn has held various roles including Autotransfusion Product Specialist and trainer within the UK South region. Prior to this, significant contributions were made at The Essex Cardiothoracic Centre from 2012 to early 2018 as the Lead Theatre Practitioner, alongside an interim role as Theatre Manager at Basildon & Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2015-2016, which involved managing a cardiothoracic theatre suite and ensuring high standards of patient care. Dawn began the career as a Surgical Care Practitioner from 2007 to 2012, assisting in adult cardiothoracic surgeries. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Health Care Practice from the University of Essex, further enhancing expertise in the healthcare field.
