Mohammad Zaifullah is a highly experienced software architect and product security officer at LivaNova, with a career spanning over a decade and a half in software engineering and cyber security. Since May 2013, Mohammad has led the architecture of the Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB) Perfusion Charting System, adhering to IEC 62304 standards to ensure patient safety, while also conducting cyber security assessments in accordance with ISO 14971, AAMI TIR57, GDPR, and HIPAA. Expertise in mentoring engineers, developing communication channels via HL7 protocol, and managing technical communications with external providers is evident throughout various roles at LivaNova. Prior experiences include significant contributions to cloud computing security at Fraunhofer AISEC and software development roles in several IT companies, including Jaxara IT and Cyber Jahan Ltd. Mohammad holds a Master’s degree in Informatics from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Military Institute of Science and Technology.
