Ryan McGuire

Ryan McGuire is an experienced professional in the fields of business analytics and clinical engineering, currently working at LivaNova since January 2010. In various roles, including Senior Manager of Neurostimulation and Manager of Clinical Engineering, Ryan has led research and development teams focused on implantable neurostimulation devices and their testing protocols. Significant contributions include the development of multiple generations of vagus nerve stimulation systems and technical leadership in international clinical trials. Prior to LivaNova, Ryan held positions at Rice University, where research centered on cochlear biophysics, and at Baxter International, working on blood collection equipment. Ryan holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Rice University and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University.
