Austin Kim

Austin Kim has worked in the software engineering field since 2008. Austin began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of California San Diego, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics and Neurosci in 2008. Austin then worked as a Research Assistant at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, Computational Neurobiology from 2011-2014. In 2014, they became a Software Engineer at Domo, Inc., where they built interactive data-driven web applications across desktop and mobile platforms. In 2019, they joined WeWork as a Software Engineer, where they developed features on the space management platform, increased scalability of the software by creating and improving APIs, and implemented automation of notification to employees for any type of check-in on the lobby tablet for all WeWork offices. In 2020, they moved to Vivint Smart Home as a Software Engineer. Austin Kim is currently a Senior Backend Software Engineer at LiveAuctioneers.

Austin Kim attended UC San Diego from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physiology/Neuroscience.
