Laura G. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software engineering. Laura is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at LiveBy since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Nelnet from 2018 to 2021, where they held two roles. In their first role as an IT Software Engineer - Node.js, they built a web application using Node.js, Typescript, PostgreSQL, and Visual Studio Code. The application was hosted on AWS and ran in Docker containers. In their second role as an IT Software Engineer - .NET/Web, they improved and maintained a .Net MVC website using C#, Razor, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, Vue, and SQL. Laura also implemented Cypress UI testing for the website.

Before joining Nelnet, Laura worked at Nanonation from 2015 to 2018 as a Software Developer. Laura developed various desktop and web applications, including a photo booth, shopping kiosk, and oil mixing kiosk.

Laura's work experience began in 2013 at Stone Fin Technology as a Web Application Developer Intern. Additionally, they created an application for the Nebraska Energy Office using Knockout JS, CSHTML, and C#. Laura utilized Jira, GitHub, and Agile for project management.
