Ferdinand Schenck has a diverse work experience in both academic and industry settings. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Teaching Assistant and Physics Tutor at the University of Pretoria, where they provided support and guidance to first-year students in physics. From 2013 to 2013, Ferdinand worked as a Lab Assistant at the University of Cape Town, assisting students with experiments and marking lab reports. Ferdinand then joined Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in 2016 and remained until 2021, where they held various research roles. In 2022, Ferdinand joined LiveEO as a Machine Learning Engineer and later became the Team Lead in January 2023. Their work experience reflects a strong background in physics, research, and leadership.
Ferdinand Schenck began their education in 2008 at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics. Ferdinand completed their undergraduate studies in 2010 and then went on to pursue an Honours degree at the same institution in 2011. After completing their BSc Honours, Ferdinand furthered their education at the University of Cape Town from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Physics.
