Georgios Raptakis

Georgios Raptakis has a diverse work experience in various roles related to product management. Georgios started their career at IPPODAMOS EE - KONIOTAKIS SPYR. & SIA EE as a Rural and Surveying Engineer from October 2014 to August 2015. Georgios then worked as a Quality Assurance in a student position at Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute HHI from December 2016 to May 2017.

Georgios joined HERE Technologies in June 2017 as a Product Management Support, and later became an Associate Product Manager from October 2017 to September 2018. Georgios then moved to Loopline Systems, where they served as a Product Manager from October 2018 to March 2020, responsible for defining product strategy and managing the development of the web-based agile feedback tool, LoopNow.

In 2020, Georgios joined Warehousing1 as a Product Manager, overseeing product management responsibilities until August 2021. Following that, they joined Planet in August 2021 and worked as a Product Manager for Hi-Res Tasking Products. In this role, they were responsible for roadmapping and building product strategies, managing the backlog, mitigating risks, and establishing channels with stakeholders. Their tenure with Planet ended in April 2023.

Currently, Georgios is working at LiveEO as a Product Manager, starting from May 2023.

Georgios Raptakis obtained a Diploma in Rural and Surveying Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens from 2008 to 2013. Georgios then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Geodesy and Geoinformation Science from the Technische Universität Berlin from 2015 to 2018. Georgios has also obtained various certifications, including one in Entrepreneurship from the Berlin School of Economics and Law in August 2020, and multiple Coursera course certificates in subjects such as Data Wrangling, Analysis and AB Testing with SQL, Business Applications of Hypothesis Testing and Confidence Interval Estimation, Entrepreneurship, AI For Everyone, Machine Learning with Python, and Software Product Management.
