Lawrence Park

Lawrence Park has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. They started their career in 2012 as an Assistant at Rutgers HackRSpace, where they set up and maintained a small network of machines for independent research. They gained experience in installing operating systems, configuring networks, and conducting controlled test environments. They also researched hardware and software trends in API and software development.

In 2015, Lawrence joined NYC Housing Recovery Operations IT as a DevOps Engineer. They monitored large-scale server environments and used PowerShell and System Center Operations Manager to monitor machines and create reports. They were also an IT Developer Intern during this time.

Lawrence then worked as an Independent Researcher at Rutgers University in 2017. They developed and deployed mapbR, a site to display Mapbox-developed maps. They researched location-based data related to heavy traffic and organized datasets using Python scripts and Mapbox. They also gave an introduction lecture on Mapbox.

From 2018 to 2021, Lawrence worked as a Software Engineer at Hearst Digital Media. Finally, in 2022, they joined LiveIntent, Inc. as a Software Engineer.

Throughout their work experience, Lawrence has gained skills in Python, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and various monitoring and server management tools.

Lawrence Park has obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
