Sushrut Athavale is a Developer Advocate at LiveKit since September 2025, focusing on engaging with the Voice AI community in the Bay Area. Previously, Sushrut served as a Developer Relations Engineer at Harness and held various engineering positions, including Software Engineer at JFrog, Member of Technical Staff at VMware Tanzu, and Associate Software Engineer at Pivotal Software, contributing to significant projects involving Kubernetes and observability integrations. Sushrut began a career in software development with internships at Amazon and Chariot, and gained foundational programming experience at UMTRI. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, along with additional training from Coding Dojo, Sushrut combines technical expertise with a strong collaborative approach.
