Greg Owen

Greg Owen has over 30 years of experience in software engineering and development. Greg is currently working as a Principle Software Engineer at Lively, Inc. Since joining HealthEquity, Inc. in 2007, Greg has held the role of Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead, contributing to the company's growth and development of web and back-end processes. Prior to that, they worked at AMS Services/Allenbrook as a Software Engineer, leading a team and successfully delivering enterprise-level web-based billing applications.

In 2001, Greg served as a Lead Developer at Cornerstone Marketing / FreeUpSells.com, where they developed an internet marketing web and offline marketing system. Greg also worked as a Lead Developer at TargitMail.com, focusing on e-mail processing and internet advertisement ordering systems.

From 1996 to 2000, Greg was a Senior Consultant at Keane Inc, leading a case management project at Liberty Mutual Insurance and working on back-end engine development. Greg started their career at Home Vision Entertainment in 1995 as a Programmer/Support Manager, maintaining and enhancing retail/rental Point-of-Sale systems.

Greg's early experience includes working as a Programmer/Analyst at HPS (currently PCIS) from 1992 to 1995, where they developed and maintained healthcare processing systems using IBM assembler.

Throughout their career, Greg has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, teamwork, and technical skills, making significant contributions to the development and maintenance of diverse software systems.

Greg Owen attended Brigham Young University from 1986 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
