Colin Barceloux

Colin Barceloux has been working in the industry since 2007. Colin began their career by founding BookRenter, where they created the company from the initial concept to address the high cost of educational materials and their impact on accessibility of higher education. In 2010, they founded Rafter, Inc. and recruited the founding team to launch the first version of the website. In 2013, they served as a Product Advisor for LE TOTE, working with the Founders to help take their idea from concept to MVP and scaling the company afterwards. In 2015, they served as a Director and Co-Founder of Techmate and also became the Owner of Loam Ridges Olive Oil, a California Fresh Olive Oil. In 2017, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Axius and in 2019 they became a Mentor for StartX. In 2020, they became an Advisor for paceline and an Entrepreneur In Residence for Wefunder. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer of Lively Root.

Colin Barceloux has a diverse educational background. Colin began their academic journey by obtaining a High School Diploma from Chaminade College Preparetory in 1995-1999. Colin then went on to earn a BSC in Management Information Systems and Services from Santa Clara University in 1999-2003. In 2013-2015, Colin obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Currently, they are attending Y Combinator.
