Jonathan Root

Jonathan Root currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and President of Commercial at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, overseeing Global Commercial operations and maintaining leadership over Finance, Accounting, and Treasury functions. Additionally, Jonathan holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at LiveWire and has been a member of the Board of Directors for Harley-Davidson Financial Services since March 2011. With a strong background in finance and insurance, Jonathan has previously held roles including Senior Vice President, President of various Harley-Davidson Financial Services subsidiaries, VP of Insurance, and Director of International Insurance Programs at GMAC Insurance Holdings. Jonathan's career began at General Motors, where initial roles included Brand Financial Analyst and participation in GM Finance Staff. Jonathan holds an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance from Wayne State University.
