John Ridden

John Ridden is an accomplished bioscientist with extensive experience in the biomedicine field. Between 1983 and 1984, John began a career at RIA (UK) as a bioscientist. This was followed by significant roles, including Laboratory Head at Ribonetics Ltd from 1993 to 1995 and Senior Principal Scientist at Pfizer from 1995 to 2001. John contributed as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Institute of Cancer Research from 1989 to 1993, focusing on Protein Kinase C signaling. A notable tenure as Director of Discovery Sciences at AstraZeneca spanned from 2001 to 2012, and John later served as CEO and Board Member at Tecrea Ltd from April 2012 to May 2022, driving research in innovative nanotechnology for biomedicine. Currently, John holds leadership positions as Managing Director at Ton, Chief Scientific Officer at LivFul, Inc., and Executive Chairman at Quodria Ltd, which focuses on high-quality medicines. John earned a DPhil in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford between 1986 and 1989.
