Nicholas Lash has been working in the software engineering field since 2011. Nicholas began as a Math and CS Tutor at Trio Student Support Services- NEIU, where they tutored underprivileged students and students with disabilities in basic math, programming, and algorithms. In 2014, they moved on to become a Software Developer at ADM Investor Services, where they designed and built the customer-facing component of the futures trading account application using Sencha and ASP. NET. In 2015, they founded their own business as an Independent iOS Developer. In 2017, they joined Nerdery as a Software Engineer (iOS), where they collaborated with clients to develop apps in transportation, retail, government, insurance, and IoT. Nicholas also worked on internal initiatives to improve engineering standards in the iOS practice. In 2019, Nicholas moved to Livly as a Senior Software Engineer and an iOS Software Engineer.
Nicholas Lash attended Cleveland Institute of Music from 2007 to 2008 where they studied Viola Performance. From 2010 to 2011, they attended Columbia College Chicago to study Music Performance. Nicholas then attended Northeastern Illinois University from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a BS in Computer Science.
