Wei Shane Tan

Wei Shane Tan has worked in the tech and service industries since 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as an Assistant Manager at Wayne's Cafe, where they were responsible for opening and closing the cafe daily, cleaning, watering plants, testing coffee beans, waiting on customers, and managing stocks. In 2019, they worked as a Studio Assistant at ABC Cooking Studio, where their duties included reception, data entry, laundry, preparing ingredients, opening the store and cashier, managing stocks, and helping in the kitchen and studio area. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at both Axflix and Okada Ecotech. At Axflix, they were a Software Engineer and Digital Marketer, creating databases and APIs for the frontend and executing and publishing social media campaigns. At Okada Ecotech, they maintained and updated web content, images, files, and other materials, and monitored relevant social discussions about the company and products. Currently, they are working as a Python Developer at Lizard Global.

Wei Shane Tan attended Methodist College Kuala Lumpur from 2016 to 2017 and obtained an AUSMAT in Science. Wei Shane then attended Monash University Malaysia from 2017 to 2020 and obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science in Advanced Computer Science.
