Hannah Smith, EIT, CFM, is a knowledgeable civil engineer with experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater management, and water-quality system design. As a Civil Engineering Intern at Southwest Engineers, Inc. from May 2022 to December 2023, Hannah focused on designing BMP water-quality systems and conducting water-quality volumetric calculations for the City of Austin. Currently serving as a Graduate Engineer at LJA since June 2024, responsibilities include creating hydrologic models, designing stormwater improvements, and assisting with local flooding solutions and regulatory compliance. Hannah earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering with a concentration in Water Resources from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 2024.
