Jason Rea

Jason Rea serves as the President of Rail Services at LJA since March 2024, following a lengthy tenure at Union Pacific Railroad from June 1998 to March 2024. During this time, Jason held several key engineering leadership positions, including AVP Engineering, where strategic oversight was provided for a multi-functional team of over 2,700 employees across 12,000 miles in the Southern Region. Notable roles included overseeing construction and renewal projects across nine states, managing extensive track and bridge construction efforts valued at $550 million, and ensuring safety and maintenance for a vast network spanning 32,000 miles. Jason's educational background includes an Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
