Jie Yang

Jie Yang is an experienced landscape architect currently serving as Associate Studio Lead at LJA, beginning in April 2025. Previously, Jie worked at Design Workshop as a Landscape Architect from October 2019 to February 2025, and held roles as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Penn State College of Arts and Architecture. Earlier experience includes internships and a summer position at various firms, focusing on master plan rendering, 3D model creation, site measurement, and translating materials. Jie holds a Master of Science in Architecture with a focus on Sustainable Urban Systems from the University of Houston, a Master of Landscape Architecture from Penn State University, and a Bachelor of Landscape Gardening from Beijing Forestry University.
