Ricky Waters

Ricky Waters, P.E., LEED AP, currently serves as Vice President of engineering at LJA, overseeing corporate engineering operations from Charleston, SC, with a focus on strategic planning, engineering design, quality assurance, and problem resolution. Previously, Ricky held various leadership roles at Bowman Consulting from 2011 to 2023, including Principal, Branch Manager, and Team Leader, where responsibilities included inspiring teams, managing branch performance, and mentoring junior staff. Additionally, Ricky worked as Manager of Civil Design at RPA Engineering and gained civil engineering experience at Bay Engineering, Inc., starting from an engineering role and rising to project management. Ricky began a professional career in the United States Marine Corps as a Marine Officer after graduating from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering.
